First weeks
Lilly arrived 12 weeks old and weighing just 1.3kg.

Lilly arrived at our place trembling and whimpering. It was a traumatic experience to be taken from her mother and litter-mates. She soon calmed down when she sat on Lynn's lap. Lilly on the first day sleeping in her bed. We moved her pen into the garden. There was much wimpering. We moved her pen into the garden. There was much wimpering. The neighbour's cat was none too amused about the addition to the household and observes from a convenient vantage point. The scales read 1320 grams (12 weeks old). This means her adult weight will most likely be 2.6Kg. Placing the mirror on the floor resulted in about 30 minutes' energetic play - with her reflection. Lilly's first bath with us - not happy. She tried constantly to climb out, cried and trembled. After the bath - still not happy. After the bath - still not happy. The fence I built to keep her in - she soon found many ways around it and it was as constant struggle to keep up. An evening by the lake, a strong breeze blowing her ear up. An evening by the lake. Resting after a big day.
