WZT August 2003
Chappi and I did a dive to find the end of the pipe that supplies water for Zurich. After a 30 minute swim we reached the end of the pipe which lies 1km from the shore at 30m. We required a twin 12l tank configuration for this dive. Nitrox was used for this dive, as using air would have required too much decompression. Total dive time was around 100 minutes, including about 20 minutes of deco stops.

Jacket configuration from the front. This is a double bladder jacket, though only 1 bladder is connected to the low pressure inflator. The second octopus is stored on the side of the first tank to try to save clutter 1st tank: 2 first stages including transmitter (pressure gauge), primary and secondary second stages and low pressure inflator to the first jacket bladder. 2nd tank: single first stage connecting to primary and secondary second stages, separate pressure gauge and dry suit inflator. Both tanks 12 litre, filled to to 220 bar with EAN32. Chappi, using a similar configuration. Also sporting a brand new dry suit. Me standing with the double tank configuration. It was very hot and the equipment was VERY heavy!
